Γιάννης ΠέροςΤο Οικονομικό Πανεπιστήμιο Αθηνών (Ο.Π.Α ) ή η πρώην ΑΣΟΕΕ (Ανωτάτη Σχολή Οικονομικών και Εμπορικών Επιστημών) όπως είναι ακόμα γνωστό στους περισσότερους, έφερε μία ακόμα διάκριση στην Ελλάδα παρόλο που δεν κατάφερε να μπει στη λίστα με τα καλύτερα πανεπιστήμια του κόσμου, στην τελευταία μελέτη των Ισπανών ερευνητών, μαζί με τα 5 καλύτερα ελληνικά πανεπιστήμια (Αριστοτέλειο, Αθήνας, ΕΜΠ, Κρήτης, Πατρών).
Πιο συγκεκριμένα το Ο.Π.Α βραβεύθηκε από το Global Brands Magazine, τα κεντρικά του οποίου βρίσκονται στο Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο, ως Best Business School, Greece στην κατηγορία Education Awards στο διαγωνισμό Global Brands Award 2015.
Η διάκριση βέβαια δε θεωρείται σημαντική επειδή βραβεύτηκε ως Best Business School στην Ελλάδα, αφού κάτι τέτοιο ήταν αναμενόμενο, αλλά γιατί στη λίστα που φαίνεται και στη συνέχεια βρίσκονται και Πανεπιστήμια όπως το Insead (Best Business School, France), το London Business School (Best Business School, United Kingdom) και το Harvard Business School (Best Business School, United States of America).
